this painting was created through pouring, using two of my favourite colours: green and pink. in this piece they feel a little softer, a little calmer, almost as if they naturally found their way to one another.

while creating it, i felt an incredible amount of joy. that is exactly why i love this technique so much. it allows me not only to follow my intuition, but also to completely surrender control to the colours, the water and the process.

the moment the colours begin to flow, the painting changes within seconds. they find their own paths, blend together and create new shapes – and i can never predict what the final piece will look like. watching this process unfold feels like witnessing a little miracle every single time.

what i love most about abstract art is that every person discovers something different within it. different shapes. different animals. different stories.

perhaps the beauty of abstract art lies not only in what is hidden inside the painting, but also in what it brings to the surface within us.

what we see is perhaps less a quality of the painting itself and more a reflection of our own thoughts, memories and imagination.

for me, it was a running cow.

the moment i found it, i couldn’t see anything else.

and that is exactly why this painting is called found within.

because perhaps it is not about what is hidden inside the painting at all, but about what becomes visible through simply looking at it.
