floating beneath the ocean came from the feeling of lying in the ocean with nothing to do but float. looking up at the sky, watching the clouds move slowly above you, the sun coming and going, everything constantly changing while you simply stay there. carried by the water. weightless. free.

there is something so beautiful about being surrounded by something much bigger than yourself and realizing that, for a moment, you don’t have to control anything. you don’t have to know where you’re going. you don’t have to move forward. you can just let yourself be carried.

the ocean becomes this space where everything feels connected. your body becomes part of the water, the water becomes part of the movement, the sky is reflected around you and everything seems to exist as one.

floating beneath the ocean is about that kind of freedom. the freedom to let go, to slow down, to stop trying to hold everything together. to trust that you can float even when you don’t know what comes next.

and maybe that’s what i love most about the ocean. it reminds me that life doesn’t always have to be pushed or figured out. sometimes you can simply surrender to the moment, look up at the sky and watch everything pass by. nothing to chase. nothing to prove.

just floating, breathing and being.
