one brings warmth, the other creates growth. together, they make it possible for flowers to bloom, cacti to thrive, and nature to unfold in its own unique way.

it reminds me that our lives, too, grow through both light and challenge. some experiences bring joy, while others invite us to grow. yet both become part of our story.

interestingly, this painting was created on a recycled canvas — over an older painting that no longer spoke to me. traces of the original artwork are still visible today, forming textures and patterns that have become part of its own unique character.

to me, this is about the fact that nothing is ever truly lost. even past layers continue to shape what is still waiting to emerge

just like sunshine and rain, both the lighter and the darker moments become part of what helps us grow.
