part of the fluid series.

while creating ballet of the rising day, i experimented for the first time with a painting technique i had never used before. by thinning paint with water, i allowed it to flow freely across the canvas.

full of curiosity, i surrendered my favorite color combination of yellow, pink, and a touch of turquoise to the process. what fascinates me most about this technique is that you never know what will happen. you let go of control completely and trust the water, the colors, and the natural movement between them. instead of controlling every brushstroke, i allowed water, color, and movement to interact in their own way.

watching the colors flow, meet, and eventually find their place felt like witnessing a small choreography unfold across the canvas. like a ballerina in motion, adorned with the colors of the rising day.

i was so amazed by the way everything blended together that i immediately continued with neon tides. at the same time, i had no idea whether the painting would still hold the same magic once it had dried. and somehow, it became one of my favorite paintings.

it reminded me that some of the most beautiful things happen when we have the courage to try something new and leave the familiar behind.

for me, there is something magical about watching every single pigment eventually find its place, creating a harmony that could never have been planned.

a reflection on curiosity, trust in the flow of life, and the beauty of letting life move in its own rhythm.
