living coral reefs is inspired by the vibrant underwater worlds and colorful coral reefs that exist beneath the surface of our oceans.

as a child, i loved watching *finding nemo* and dreamed of one day discovering such a magical world with my own eyes — a world full of life, color, movement, and wonder.

many years later, when i went snorkeling in the open ocean for the first time, reality looked different from what i had imagined. much of it felt quieter, grayer, and more fragile than the world i had carried in my imagination. among the few fish, small pieces of plastic drifted through the water.

that moment made me feel sad, but above all, grateful. it reminded me that some of the most beautiful places on earth are not something we should ever take for granted.

they need our awareness, our care, and our protection.

may we move through life with a little more gratitude for the places that nourish us, inspire us, and make this planet feel alive.
